Ho Chi Minh City – too hot to handle

First Morning

OK, I planned to explore this city in the same way that I’ve explored others; lot’s of walking, taking in the sights and making my way to landmarks. Not so fast there GIRLIE…I got out before 9am to stroll around before it got to hot. It was nowhere near 90 degrees yet. I walked 20 minutes and then had to turn and go back to the apartment for a shower and change of clothes. That 92 degrees feels more like a sauna. I’m not sure how much sightseeing I will get done, so I am happy that I have an apartment, rather than a hotel room, to spend the next few days in. Even the pool is too hot to get into!

I ended up getting a car to take me to the mall where I could do some toiletry shopping, walk in the cool air (kinda cool air) and grab some lunch. I found most of what I needed, although I’m having a difficult time finding a lady’s shaver. All I can find are men’s shavers. Oh well, since chemo many years back, I don’t have to shave that often. BONUS.

The weather has cooled down to a balmy
